Nursery schedule will be: Monday-Friday from 9am - 12pm. All reservations must be made by 9am the day of,   walk ins are not accepted.  To make a reservation call 801-943-3190 ex 105. 

  • Nursery employees will take care of handling check in sheet and punch card from file box. 
  • Nursery capacity is 15. 

Our nursery is open to all children, from newborns through age 8, while a parent or guardian is actively involved in a Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center activity. We have a wide variety of age appropriate toys, books, puzzles, DVDs and art supplies to keep your child entertained during their visit. Each staff member is required to have current CPR and First Aid Training certificates. We use a reservation system so that you can ensure your child has a place in our nursery when you come to work out at CHRC.

Nursery Hours

  • Monday : 9am - 12pm
  • Tuesday: 9am - 12pm
  • Wednesday: 9am - 12pm
  • Thursday: 9am - 12pm
  • Friday: 9am - 12pm
    • We are committed to being open these hours but please understand that being short staffed hours may vary day to day depending on staff availability. 
    • If there are no reservations, the Nursery will be closed, or close early. 

Nursery Rates

  • Child (newborn-8): $3.00 Per Hour

Making Nursery Reservations

Please call 801.943.3190 ext. 105.  Reservations may only be made 24/hrs in advanced and MUST be made by 9am the day of.  Nursery reservations are required for children of all ages at all times to ensure they have a place in the nursery during your time at CHRC.

Cash Cards for Nursery Reservations

You must have a Cash Card on file in the nursery to make a reservation. Nursery Cash Cards may be purchased at the front office for $10.00, $20.00 or $50.00. Cash Cards are valid for 1 year from date of purchase.

Late for Nursery Reservations/No-shows

If you are late for your reservation start time, the end time will remain the same. 

All nursery reservation no-shows will be charged the regular nursery rates for the time of the reservation.

Cancelling Nursery Reservations

Please call 801.943.3190 ext. 113 during regular nursery hours at least 2 hours in advance if you need to cancel your reservation. If you need to cancel before 8am call 801.943.3190 ext. 0

Parent will be asked to return to child if:

  • Child requires a diaper change
  • Child continues to misbehave
  • Child has been crying for more than 20 minutes
  • Child showing signs of illness

NO SICK CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED IN THE CHILDCARE.

If your child is showing signs of sickness, to protect other children and employees please do not bring them.
